A Poem's Birth. Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Poem's Birth.

Rating: 5.0

First
You feel,
Like a warm
Embrace
That holds you
Tight,
As if some divine
Light,
Is inspiring,
Dominating
What you want to say,
And all at once
The Poem's born!
And feelings become
Words,
And the abstract
Takes form
Like a child
Waiting to come home,
Made of love's
Intensity,
As,
Spirituality takes form,
A poem's born!

A beautiful depiction of how a poem comes to life. So excellently worded and presented. Liked the analogy. A masterstroke!
