I understand this poem Ravi. When I was a little girl I loved our chickens starting with baby chicks by the wood stove. My dad lopped off the heads, my mom plunked them in boiling water and my brother and I pulled off the feathers. A family affair. Thank you for the chicken's point of view. Keep writing and sharing. A '10! ' Best Wishes, Marilyn
