I loved you in silence
Hoping to marry you soon
I had my heart kept for you
Knowing that you felt the same.
You didn't need to say anything.
Our eyes said it all and our arms sang it in the warm hugs every autumn.
Our childhood defined a future we could have.
people imagined the couple we would become and the heavens gave us the breath to reach that destination.
Every one knew you were mine apart from you.
There was no worries for our blood groups were a match before we met.
Why then did we need to waste those romantic words when our chests could feel it better.
when our presence together was in itself enough.
Now your heart has been taken,
My soul has been crushed,
And you have professionally friend zoned me.
That I ought to have talked where your lips could have sang,
I should have run where your legs should have run.
Am shuttered and buttered to believe any of your truth.
