📖 A Poem For Our Young Poets 📖 Poem by James McLain

📖 A Poem For Our Young Poets 📖

Young poets, hear the soft wind's call,
Each day is a gift, don't let it fall.
Be kind with your words, let them flow,
Help others in need, let your compassion grow.

Patience is a treasure, slow and deep,
In quiet moments, the world you will learn keep.
Empathy is a song that even the bird's sing,
A melody that heals, with a peaceful ring.

Lift up the fallen, encourage the weak,
Speak with gentleness, let kindness speak.
With each step, be true and bright,
Shining through the dark, a guiding light.

Remember the trees, the sky, the sea,
Soon they may vanish, like love on the breeze.
Hold nature close, before it fades away,
For once it's gone, no trace will remain.

So live with purpose, let love be your guide,
A good human being, in thought and deed.
The world will remember the warmth you gave,
A poet's heart, strong and pure and stand brave.
