from China Highlights, online: Every year, China celebrates International Women's Day on March 8. Slightly different from the day's original focus of celebrating women's economic, political, and social achievements, Women's Day became simply an occasion for men to express their love for women in manner similar to a combination of Valentine's Day and Mother' s Day Bri wonders: Do any Chinese WOMEN express their love on 'Women's Day...for other women? ? i hope so. bri :)
Well, indeed it is quite true, and many people ridicule the Day by exaggerating the greetings in posters, so much so that some (young) women hate the false gestures of celebration.Do any Chinese WOMEN express their love on 'Women's Day...for other women? ? The answer is YES, usually daughters for their mother, with gifts and flowers and sometimes gift of money in electronic red envelopes~ :)
