Latest results of my research. Mary Eleanor Junkin was born 7 February 1836 at Milton, Pennsylvania. Father: David Xavier Junkin, Mother: Jane McCleery. Mary penned this poem on her 15th birthday. The Junkin Family is rich in history. One of her relatives, whose poems are also on poemhunter, is poet: Margaret Junkin Preston,1820 - 1897 USA, Her 26 poems were all entered on the same day,12 October 2010. I believe I have found a treasure! ! ! !
