I like this one too Joseph. Nothing better for seeing your country, but sad that you had to sell yours.

For many, roaming around in a motor coach or some other vehicle, sight seeing and visiting historical places is a passion and an easy way to drown all blues! I can imagine how you enjoyed similar adventures in your youth! Even I feel sorry over your selling up of the 'motorhome'! ! Excellent poem!

Mountains, seashore, historic sites - the anticipation alone makes you want to get yourself an RV and have at it. Beautiful poem. And glad you had the opportunity to publish it in a magazine as a promotion for the RV industry. Way to go! 10.

Joseph, thank you very much for these fine words of wandering wonder! You have certainly hit a nerve within my heart here, as I so hope to hit-the-open-road as soon as I retire, just me, my camper, my wife, an old map (with the old Blue-Highways on it!) , and no-particular-place-to-go! The true backroads of Americana. Thanks for the inspiration; I needed that!

Wonderful poem, I now feel the need to be up and away, you really do make the motorhome life sound idyllic, A joy to read.

Would love to own such a vehicle, just need the cash. Sounds a great way of life. Very good poem.
