'Let our games relish in your insipid taste' ...Unless 'games' refer to sporting events such as soccer/football, I believe you refer to antelope & wild pig which may be hunted for meat, ..in which case I suggest the plural noun 'game'. (no 's') bri : ) (cont.)
Thanks Bri for the suggestion regarding the plural form of game.
: ))) I think you left 'r' out of 'scorched', right? ? : ) ....'And to provide' 'to' is not needed here.
Gee, wouldn't it be NICE if rivers or fire hoses or...? could wash away evil and evildoers? ! bri : )
Kingsley, You tied my brain up a bit (more than it already was) with tide/tidings/tide! Does the river's water level change due to 'nearby' ocean tides? : )
Sure the water level changes with the season. Tide here refers to the water current while tiding refers to the news brought by the current
(cont.) 2 definitions of 'game': '4 a (1) : animals under pursuit or taken in hunting especially: wild animals hunted for sport or food (2) : the flesh of game animals' I give 5 stars ***** : )
Yes Bri, game here refer to wild animals hunted for food. Here wild animals are eaten for food so the need the water from river Otamiri to grow and be healthy
