typical Dunbar, honest and straightforward in his expressions, this is his plea. A real thought-provoking poem.5 Stars for the poem and Congratulations to the family of the late poet. The finest Classic Poem Of The Day. Thank you dear Poem Hunter and Team.

WOW! The greatest poem Dunbar died so young at 33 years, he suffered from Tuberculosis, how very sad. CONGRATULATIONS to the family of the late great American Poet. His life history is amazing! I am very happy to know him now forr 100% How young he wrote poetry and his " I don't care" attitude, I can feel and imagine that. A handsome and great poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. WOW! God's Blessings greatest for his beloved family
