A Pinch Of Happiness Can Be A Miracle Seed Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Pinch Of Happiness Can Be A Miracle Seed

Rating: 5.0

broken desires can be like broken teeth
shattered dreams like fractured broken ribs
failing withering hope like spinal injuries
sometimes there is no way out of pain
sometimes there is only blinding unendurable pain
sometimes pain endless thirty minutes of tsunami pain
sometimes pain thirty minutes trying to get a sock on
a single sock lying on the floor trying in horrible pain

yes allowing help someone to put the other sock on
but day after slow day it gets slightly faster slightly
time stretches time stretches until 5 minutes a sock
until a few years later a sock is only inconvenient easy
putting a sock on in near normal time was once impossible
it does not even need a pinch of happiness a pinch of hope

just sheer blind impossible trying trying determination
absolute determination is not believing a doctor's impossible
absolute determination is trying trying unending trying
absolute determination is not admitting to the impossible
absolute determination is not giving up when prayer fails
a pinch is so small a pinch can be tiny minuscule infinitesimal

yet life survival differences between life death with severe injuries
can be just a pinch of choice of desire the will to live a pinch, a pinch
a pinch until the possibility of hope and a better life not just survival

may dawn
a pinch is so small
a pinch can be tiny
minuscule infinitesimal

in an eyeblink
in a heartbeat
in a smile

in an instant
in a jiffy
in a moment

in a split second
less a nanosecond
a life changing wink

life can spin like a top
in birth of golden light
in sunrise possibilities

in pot of gold at the end
of a raindrop prism rainbow
glass ceiling shatters broken

light speed is snail speed
when mind heaven is attained
paradise love ecstasy bliss

I love this poem! Yes, you're right, wishes and dreams are our bones, supporting our psyche, our life. And, yes, sometimes you need just a shadow of them and a tiny bit of will to resurrect from dust. Though, sometimes you can't find that shadow and still go on living. Stubbornness means more than hope.

Sir I is really glorious...a pinch can venture me such encompassing I never thought...you really instilled new hope and new smile...out of all just a pinch brings great things.
