A picture or a photograph which one relates to like a wedding picture, or of a person who has gone very far and may not come back hold so much meaning and hide so many stories and emotions They are our memories stored in our mind. But they are but pictures and the past moments can never come back.

'But they are but pictures and the past moments can never come back' - that's the essence of the poem. Thanks for bringing it out, dear poet @Bharati Nayak.

I admire the truth of your poem. When one enters their sixties and gazes at an old picture of themselves they often are left with one question.Where did this person go? I use to know him now he no longer exist and has becomes one of his or her grandparents. Terrance Tracy

Thank you so much, dear poet Terrance Tracy, for your thoughtful comment. How are you these days? Please stay home and stay safe, since you are in the vulnerable group for Corona attack, age-wise.
