Poignant and morose but sadness is a universal trait as nobody can be happy each and everyday. Your great talent at rhyming and metaphor ought to cheer u up. This was written superbly. Warmest regards. Great to read from u again.
My friend, that is one very pensive gray mood. You certainly know how to write this across the miles to your readers- - the only thing I've ever found to work with this kind of emotion is to ride the sucker out. Crying if that does the trick. Wailing on a dirty rug. Glaring at innocent strangers [yes, I really have done that, I can be such a beast at times], writing it out. That last option is the most productive.
