An insightful piece nicely embellished with poetic rhyme and rhythm. A beautiful creation...
An illuminating poem that shines like gold.....Marvellous
I was surprised that Robert Frost had written this... at first. Then I realized I was more accustomed to his poetry that was from an older man's point of view, usually set in a rural setting- -this was from his childhood and from the point of view of a man looking back at his childhood and finding moments of innocence that might have brought a whimsical smile to his face.
Life in the Golden Gate! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
All the dust the wind blew high Appeared like god in the sunset sky, ........well imaginative expression. Beautiful poem.
Such was life in the Golden Gate: Gold dusted all we drank and ate, - There is always a kind of loss for whatever gains we get... We don't mind the air pollution when we badly need the material things in life. A very impressive poem by the well-known R.Frost.
Like to quote - All the dust the wind blew high Appeared like god in the sunset sky, But I was one of the children told Some of the dust was really gold.
Overall, this poem is just a speck of dust. The winds of time have already blown it away.
