The symbol of obedience and dignity
This is my hijab and also my identity
Covering my hair and body is my priority
It is rather sad that we are the minority
Only few really understand the philosophy,
And the importance of covering the body
My hijab is a protection
Against any evil or creation
My hijab is a reflection
Of my inner beauty and dedication
My hijab is a perfection
No doubt and no objection
My hijab is an indication
Of my total submission
My hijab is a continuation
Of my life and my religion
My hijab is a part of me
My hijab is what sets me free
My hijab is what makes me glee
My hijab is my priority
