Profound, yes, but lucidly put across, with the controlled vocabulary, and some good imagery!

An appealing poetic analysis of a pardigm shift. I am adding my point of view as follows: Drop the dichotomy, live with One, All doubts and delusions will be done; Future and past always mislead, In the present lies the seed. Never ever let this paradigm shift, Else to angst-ridden fronts you drift.

Dichotomy picked up with a tong ....Words, attitude, feeling, love Transcend the paradigm. So surreal an avant garde --------------- I had the feeling to read Beaudrillard theory in poetry...Brillant....You have the technic to craft theory through poetic form, like the old classics.

Your poem has a lot of depth and inner meaning. Has to be read a couple of times and pondered upon. The deluge does indeed carry us and we do not have any control. This has been happening with incredible speed with the advent of the Third Wave (as referred to by Alvin Toffler) . The shifts can be envisaged as huge ocean waves just carrying us against our will. Generations will come and generations will go but the wave will continue for ever. Take care... Leonard

This is a very witty piece, with irony at its core, perhaps the same feeling experienced by every generation who must witness the shift to the 'new' and who still hanker after the old and familiar. Generation after generation will play the same roles, experience the same uncertainties, yearn for the same futures. The only difference now is the exponential growth in the speed of it all. Your poem is thought provoking and needs to be read and re-read. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
