A painful note written on an O.P. ticket
Joins our conscience to refine the dowry system!

Still continue the crimes of dowry with a new
Helpless victim and her heart wrenching piece of news;
A young doctor with his staunch mind of avarice
Had pushed her, a hopeful fellow surgeon, to take
An anesthetic drug to end her life herself;
Nowadays, in the stables of dowry system
A lot of such horse trading flourish unnoticed!
