A Nocturnal Rendezvous Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Nocturnal Rendezvous

I‘ll be waiting for you patiently, my love
About ten minutes before the sound of the Angelus
Less than two miles away from the beach cove.

I am bringing a gigantic bottle of liqueur
A variety of cheese, two French baguettes
Two candles and a box full of gadgets.

Please bring with pleasure a can of humor
Your beautiful smile and your sweet sexiness
I promise you we'll be swimming in happiness.

This nocturnal rendezvous is long overdue
Less than two miles away from the beach cove
I will be waiting eagerly for you, my love.
