A Night To Remember Poem by Saul Palti

A Night To Remember

You have left to go out
sure you have and never in doubt
pick up your suitcase
wipe those tears from of your face

start a new adventure on your own
leave them and forget to moan
throw that dog a bone
and find a new home

go and say a new goodbye
when the the sun begins to sigh
just walking in
for what has been

look deep into the night
without a fright
chuck away the followers
and buy flowers

listen to the scream
of the howling beam
you have made it now
with your white sail
