Not birth, my love, no, no, — Not death, my love, no, no, — The love once ours, but ours long hours ago. A profound poem from a great poet Dante
And what's the thing beneath the skies We two would most forget? Not birth, my love, no, no, — Not death, my love, no, no, — The love once ours, but ours long hours ago. Lovely sharing of a poem from one of th greatest poet.
I love to read english poems, there is oft an understatement and so wisely put. I do not dare to give this Classic Mighty Poem a well deserved TEN, but it´s all in this game, a post mortem well deserved 10. The late Mr.Rossetti is a very gifted poet, IF I may say. Sheer poetry I have enjoyed fully and I love his refined chic cynism. CONGRATS for this Classic of the Day, For Mr. Rossetti´s family to know. Such a grateful feel having read a poem from a gifted Classic Poet.
