Sometimes looking too far ahead
We cannot see the enemy
Already in our backyard
And everybody
Just like pearl harbor
We are caught off guard
Our eyes blinded
Because we are
Looking too hard
Play a losing hand
Playing card after card
But never finding
The right combination
Along comes a gambler
Pretending to be new at the game
Sits down and begins to play the game of a pro
Then you know
It happened so very quick
Just like pearl harbor
You might think!
