Sometimes we do things unwittingly trying to help someone in need. We have to pray for discernment in the choices that we make. Good advice from a father to son. Let us all take heed. Very good.
Excellent advice from the father above and common-sense for everyone in life today with the world full of people wanting to get something that is for free by hook or crook! great poem...regards

A nice poem charged with a deep meaning.Fabulous.It happens.
an excellent poem Shahzia. These things happen in life so we must be very careful hwo and when we try to help. This was a clear set up using a child.
How sad that such incidents occur here in the 21st century.
I have seen sister such acts when i was posted to HASIMARA near Bhutan..I felt badly but I came to know the Poverty is the main root cause we must look into it Poverty is a curse a fertile land for crime nice poem thank you
that is kind of testing your good attentions there is always reasons pushing you to other side but we should stuck on our way and never become like your(enemy) / thanks
We see and hear about such acts. Never act blindly. Nice warning delivered. Thank you.
Practical wisdom should teach one not to blindly trust everyone! Times are bad and through prudence and intuition, we have to discern the good from the bad. A very intelligent observation of life, put beautifully and logically into a fine write, Shahzia! As Dinesh has observed, another version of Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience
The old songs of innocence and experience by William Blake here go for a change as Shahzia comes out with this write half an episode and half an observation. I think being practical about things is very important at every stage of life.
Amazing Ms. Shahzia Batool Ji! Just use your brain and think before the act of mercy Where to stop, where not to stop… I gave you all the gift of trust but Certainly not the blind one… In this world of hypocisy and decietfullness one should think before the act of mercy!
