Our history is like a big bag of experiences, which we gather up, some good, others not so good. It is easy to spend too long with our head in that bag, dwelling on the past, rather than looking ahead to our 'horizons' and steering our way towards more positive experiences. Great poem, which ends with hope - always my favourite type!

When something so important was lost, people think that they can't move on. But the reality is in this poem. Though we are somehow blinded by our miseries, we continue to move forward and by doing so we unknowingly create a new path, we find new horizon, and new happiness in life. Such a powerful poem. It doesn't just stir emotions but also awareness. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, what a giant truth you have woven in thes very nice sounding verses. Many of our setback are mere stepping stones to a brighter future. We just sometimes have to see the opportunity in the problem. The way you express your navigation in the dark leading to a new horizon, marvelous poetry.
