A Naughty Smile Poem by Minerva Agriam

A Naughty Smile

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes you tasted like candy,
Sweetly melting before me;
Sometimes you tasted like the dew,
Refreshing my weariness.

Sometimes I saw you serious,
Ironically strict;
Sometimes you laugh,
Or was it a naughty smile?

You are like the olden people,
Announcing the future;
You brought all the hidden,
Out from our closets.

Nothing escaped your gaze,
You knew all things;
Not a single thought
Can be hidden from you.

Sometimes you're so weary,
Burdened heavily;
Sometimes you were angry,
By our being silly.

Sometimes you float like the feather,
With a soft touch of an angel;
Sometimes you sleep with a heavenly
Smile; or was it a naughty smile.
