Yesterday I had the pleasure of going around to the back of a mountain in a boat with friends on the Lakes of Killarney. It took some time but it was worth it. We didnt have to climb it. Instead we had a view of it from every direction. and enjoyed the boat trip as well. Your poem is a great description of the struggle to survive on your own terms. I quote you a line also by Walter Macken in his book on the Irish Famine of 1845 entitled Seek the Fair Land -'Seek the fair land that lies over the brow of the hill.

You have the spirit to survive. Strength for the journey, my friend. Very well written. As always, Sandra

The strength that you portray in this work is so very strong, against all odds and despair. The mountain is your biggest challenge in life and you will win through...10

Yes you will survive. We women have an innate will to survive, if not for ourselves for the love of our own, that is incomparable. This poem is very touching with its hidden strength. If its more than a poem, please do feel free to contact me if you need a friend or maybe just a listening ear :)
