I agree with this endorsement of freedom and the great things people can accomplish when they are. But there is an undercurrent of sadness running beneath the words, perhaps because of frequent setbacks, perhaps because the mission for peace is such a huge task. You're right to let your doubts show because those who would disrupt missions of peace have to realize you are vigilant! This poem contains truth about freedom but also honesty about the realities of the world. Truth and Honesty - we need both out in the open.

What an insightful poem. These are questions I often ask myself. Wonderfully written!

A poem of peace! 'We must always be true, To our best convictions, The liberty of heart and mind, Should have no restrictions.' - Truly, a poem of freedom too! Thanks for this great honor! I am deeply touched.
