Some people can be very picky about the 'Rules' of certain poetic forms, but I hold mostly just to the AABBA rhyme scheme. Typically, Limericks are a bit racy and punny but I have used them for philosophical purposes too, just as you have here.

Definition of absence is given in wonderful way. Fumes to fumes and perfumes to perfumes. Really what is done is never done from closer view. Wise and humorous too this poem is. Excellent sharing definitely! ..10
