A Million Miles Poem by Saul Palti

A Million Miles

I have been on the run
with a loaded gun
looking to break free
from the wanted poster
there's a cell waiting for me

I will head to New Orleans
where the woman are so fine
I will not serve a minute of time
where the road is filled and has been
with everything a man has seen

I robbed a bank in Paris
for a dollar and a dime
and one in Tennessee
after crossing the ocean sea
I will not share what's mine

I blackmailed a wife
stole her jewellery with a knife
bribed the jury in London
from way out in Boston
now its time spend my doe
