The sloka, meaning 'song', although metric, is not considered poetic.
It functions more as the equivalent to Western prose with lines and meter and

Dear madam, I read your poem 'A Microcosm's prayer (Slokha) -23 and learned so many names and power of Adi Para Sakti. I also went through your own work based on the great slokha 'Lalitha Sahasranamam' and to translation of Mr.P.R Ramachandar Naamaas 441 to 460.
