A Merry Christmas Poem by Abinesh Anbazhagan

A Merry Christmas

Ain't a gushy wind but a breeze much gentle
Resting on the last month, what can I gaze out my window?
Green meadow then, now heaps so white
Ran a stream now turn Ice sheet!
I await 'A Merry Christmas'

How more this sky go glow?
Some water still runs
the water feels shy when the breeze kiss and bank
The stars - a witness
Sooner it's ' A Merry Christmas'

Woods- it has meanings, I have one
A place for winter! Felt by some
The bird, elk or moose
Found to settle, when the snow cover them half
Its winter, what may I do?
I settle for warmth,
Reading Robert Frost
Very close it's 'A Merry Christmas'

Soon a day, I hear jingles and carols
The day is arriving with Santa
-the mystery man, the history man!
What is my gift? I chuckle
It's here 'A Merry Christmas'

To share and care - a season of cold
To think, to miss - dont spend it go
To meet, to greet - a winter to repair
To wine, to rum- Kindle that fire
Wish this night 'A Merry Christmas'

Winter a winter - months of memory
to bond, to love, to care
Cakes, berries and turkey - a diner
Make it loud, 'A Merry Christmas'

Think of me, when you cut a cake or munch a steak
Think of me, when you nose a whiskey, or take it neat
Think of me, when you meet this day awaiting a year
Think of me, when someone wishes
'A Merry Christmas! '
