A Man Of Integrity Poem by Randy McClave

A Man Of Integrity

Is there a man who thinks that he's better than me
Just because he has more,
Do, I think that there is a man with that much hypocrisy
Sadly yes, I would say that for sure.
Remember a man isn't measured by what he owns,
He is measured by how he atones.

Is there a man that thinks that he is any better
Just because where he was born or how he was raised,
If so, I would like then to meet his debtor
And then hear if he is either cursed, or either praised.
They say the man who always walks alone at night,
Does so, because he hates being seen in the light.

Do, I think that I am better than any man
Just because of the things that I can buy, or have bought,
To say that I'm equal to any other person, that I easily can
But, to believe that I am better than anyone, that I cannot.
They say when tears are shed when a man dies
A man of integrity the world did truly recognize.
