Rest here you sweet little bird,
Why are you afraid of me?
In the verandah adjacent to my room
Through the glasses I want to see,
How you sing and how you dance
How you sleep and how you romance.
Too hot noon not a night of moon
Why alone, where's your spouse?
Out in search of food and water!
Grains, water, shelter all in my house.
Blossom here like a flower of cherry
Call your spouse, eat drink and be merry.
I am looking at you with my true love
But you are looking with doubts and fears
Right! Being a human I can't be trusted
You flown back giving me just tears.
I couldn't tell I wanted only inspiration
Against hospitality of rest and recreation!
This Bird is a symbol of life, the trust we have on our soul to guide us in this world is nicely written, Yet another Great poem, a master stroke with brilliant metaphor.
the bird knowing that you have composed on her.... will come now with her loved one...and sing songs for you- - this i say out of experience my parrot....who I let fly from his cage after he had recovered from his injury returned and again took a grains from my hands.. but never again returned we are as you say only human the parrot was ntelligent
A very insightful and thought provoking poem. Birds are always free spirited creature. Yet, sometimes they are intimidated in the presence of human beings for fear that they might be captured and used them for fun. Marvelous piece of work.10
An elegant piece of work! The theme of this beautiful poem is as naive as the bird displayed in the picture! 10
