I think you say it loud and clear here, nothing really left to the imagination. She had finally taken enough abuse by someone she should have been able to trust. He took that trust, threw it away and used his power over her day after day. The end is tragic for she now must live with this for the rest of her life and healing may never come. I hope many pedophiles, child molesters, monsters etc. whatever we want to call them, I hope they read and heed the message here. Excellent work once again Ted.--Melvina--

Chilling.... spine-tingling.... evocative: not a word too many, not a word too few. A picture conjured up as much by what is left unsaid as said. Tightly-reined emotion.... I could go on about this one forever. Best poem I've read all year.
