A Magic Wand
A story told by my grandmother still rings in me
It is the adventurous journey
Taken by a common man
Fighting the devils and ghosts on his way
To find the magic wand
Which could wake up the princess
Who was sleeping unconscious for years.
What a wonderful thing it was
That its touch could put life into a lifeless body!
I wish to own such a magic wand
That can change people's heart
It can stop people from doing wrong
Its magical power can vanish all violence
In the place of hatred it will bring love
To the poor and needy it can bring rice bowls
It can heal the sufferings of people.
I know, this is one of my impossible dream
No magic wand was there, nor it can be made
But I wish for such a utopian land where people live in peace
With no violence, no sufferings nor any hatred!

Very sensitive poem leaving a trail of hope and good will in people's heart. Wish I had a magic wand too.

Your magic wand would be a wonderful thing. What great things it would accomplish!
