I hope everything is ok Bri. Glad you and your wife worked out your differences and she wants you to hang around with her as long as possible. Stay well!

It is a little disturbing to hear it....! But as ever, I give the allowance of doubt to what you say! Even if there is a lump, I am sure it is benign! Don't expect to leave on a high note now! Let there be years and years for you to make others laugh! I feel happy that your partner reacted the way any caring and loving wife would do! If it were my husband who concealed such a thing from me, I would have boxed him to death! Take care... though there is no reason for alarm(?) or excitement! I loved the irony part! As years go by, the bond tightens! It is true love! Greatly enjoyed Eugine Levich's comment! Yes, it could be a piece of pizza stuck in the throat'! !

I shall make a typical female remark and say TYPICAL MAN, why won't you lot go to the doctor when the need arises. no weeks or months down the line...and that been said I do hope it all goes well Bri x

i should have and do plan to put into my Poet's Notes: i planned to ask the dentist about the lump i would not have waited much longer to consult with a doctor; i knew the dentist would have an opinion and luckily he could make a referral [required by some specialists around here, but not by our insurance company]. an online source suggests having a 'lump' looked at if it lasts longer (in the neck area anyway) for more than 2 weeks. my wife's pressure over the phone helped to secure a relatively-soon-to-occur appointment at the ENT office. she told them she thought the need was urgent, not routine as the referral was checked by the dental office. bri :)

I think the 'not knowing and the waiting for a diagnosis' thing is the worst part when faced with questionable lumps and bumps. Hoping all will be good.

Tell wifey not to worry- it's probably just a bit of pizza stuck in your throat. Let me know what insurance you carry and send me the co-pay.
