I have read this poem quite often. It is haunting yet alluring, hard and yet hopeful. Reminds me of some of Tom Waits work.
wow very good some of the best i have ever read on this site once again great job
'A Love So Tragic' is so beautifully woven. The fabric of your expression is full of many moods and colors. You are at once seemigly optimistic and happy, yet simultaneously there is an undercurrent of hopelesness and a precognition of tragedy, the curse of all lovers gambles. You have captured me, and your poetry, thus far, makes me feel like wishing I could reach out and offer you a cyber-hug to tell you that the combination of love, and the consequences of its risks, are so very well and artfully woven into that fabric of your poem, yet you somehow manage to grab the reader with a charm that is surrounded simutaneously by both optimism and defeat. So far out of four poems read I have two favorites, a very real indicator of your power as a poet and weaver of words.
Your gorgeous as you always are So beautiful no one could believe That you could find such beauty In someone like me But here we find a good picture of lovable images
this is a true tragedy, good job.
