A Love Beyond Compare (Sonnet #292) Poem by Tina Baaklini

A Love Beyond Compare (Sonnet #292)

Love blossoms soft in gestures light as air,
A smile that glows like dawn upon the sea,
Two hearts entwined, a bond both true and fair,
Who need words when souls can speak so free!

Love deepens like the roots of ancient trees,
A pyramid that rises to the endless blue,
The higher up, the softer drifts the breeze,
As souls embrace in whispers soft as dew.

You cradle me within a dream-lit land,
Where love, like stardust, shimmers in the night,
A love that time and trials can withstand,
Like Shakespeare's Juliet, still burning bright.

If hearts were gems, then yours would be the rare,
A diamond forged in love beyond compare.
