A Lost Traveler Poem by Majid Gaggi

A Lost Traveler

A lost traveler...
Getting lost and turning in the desert
Like a scattered sand demon
In the shadows of the sand dunes
That sparkles in the afternoon sun
Rising above the undulating ground
As if they were breasts prepared for breastfeeding
The lost traveler around the desert
To quench his thirst and thirst and support him
Waves and curves of sand shadows
The edges of the sand dunes break
Through the golden hills and plateaus
The lost traveler is wrapped in the cloak of longing
Flapping in the stormy wind
Heat rises from the core of the dunes
The lost traveler becomes increasingly lost and lost
He tries to cling to the weakest hopes
He gets stuck in the mirage that appears to him
Hoping for a happy ending to his tragedy
With a vision of hope in a mirage of the desert
Bury and end his growing fear and pain
