When I think of you
I lay on my bed,
Soaked in a pool of tears
For I will never forget a,
precious soul just like yours.
A light upon the darkest side of my heart
For I think of this,
Because of the love in my heart,
Remorse my blindness
never realising
what a companion you were
until now that you are gone.
I didn't know,
it would strip you open and red
Not telling you
How much you meant to me.
I sure was dimly naïve
But wherever you stand now
Am sure
You are still a blinking star
How I wish for a chance
to say I care
Whisper it right to your ears
As I inhale your precious scant
Memories fill my heart,
And all things with pain,
Why do precious souls
Just like you have to fade?
