'A lost horizon and a barren ship Adrift upon waves of salt water' wonderful imagery of desolation, with hints of 'The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, turned in a twist with the final stanza 'Break me free of this endless cruel circle The way out of this water-logged cross Bring me a taste of mercy and a miracle Show me, where is my White Albatross? '

Break me free of this endless cruel circle The way out of this water-logged cross Bring me a taste of mercy and a miracle Show me, where is my White Albatross? praying to escape from desperation..... very often we all experience such situtions in life........ conquering it with great determination and prayer is the medicine...... get into contact with God in silence, deep meditation and prayer.. God bless you. a fine poem.. lots of emotions.. tony
