This poem has wonderful descriptive words and imagery. I love the way Noyes brings so many varied things into a single poem. The title A Loom of Years is appropriate because we are all made by one God- the Weaver, Who weaves the Web of Years.
There is indeed something kindred in this time or that time, because certain truths hold true. I love this poem for its rhythm (rather lulling) , imagery (incredible mastery) and the perfection of the simile in drawing so many pieces of the world into one poem.
