A LOOK AT LIFE-122

FORGET AND FORGIVE

Forget and see
How beautiful the world is.
Forgive and find
How absorbing life can be.
Here is the heaven of peace
Here is the kingdom of bliss
Explore it.
Forget and forgive
To have that state of mind,
Joy and happiness unlimited
Which the Gods envy.

Forgetting is an art
So also forgiving.
Cultivate these by all means.
Not so easy to forget and forgive.
Not a coward's adventure
But a hero's endeavour
It needs years of practice
And grooming of mind
Before you can forgive someone
With all your heart and reasoning.

Understand!
The futility of nurturing negative emotions
Anger, pride, greed, hatred and jealousy
Selfishness, ego, vanity and malice
Realise how they kill you every moment
They do not harm anyone except yourself
They neither let you forget nor forgive
Never allow you to live
And make a hell of your life.
Come out of it
Kill these before they kill you
If you want to live a meaningful life.

Forget and forgive!
To enjoy the bliss.
Be sure!
Your journey on the thorny path of life
Will be smooth, easy and nice
