Loud enough to hear
A long ways off
Big enough to see
A long ways off
A train coming down the track
Coming fast
Not long to be
A long ways off
A train coming down the track
Wake up the dead
Wake up the sound asleep
A voice very strong
And sounding
So very deep
A train on the track
Comes passing bye
Soon to be
A long ways off
A long ways gone
Somewhere
Someone else
Will hear it's
Sad and mournful tone
