The old man you have presented here appears more victorious than defeated, more blessed than cursed, more strong mentally though aged and frail in body, lonely but with the gracious company of thoughts and poems and getting ready to start anew in youthful vigor! A great write!
A lonely old man, though he has no one to look after him, no one to cook food for him or nobody to provide medical aid still he can convert his thoughts into a poem, he has capacity to fight the war of life upto his last breath, he can welcome the angel of death, he can go with his bag and baggage for pleasure trip, and he has confidence to become a child once again. Dear Akhtar Ji, you have made here a gorgeous write on a 'Lonly Old Man'. You have so nicely and vividly portrayed the present picture of the society that practically is going on. You have aptly and cutely empowered your pen to pen a courageous confidence in a lonely old man's heart. Let me quote some lines... How carefree is a lonely old man! He will be in a world where nobody is too mighty to kill, no court to punish him for his thoughts and writes, no laws, no morals, no customs and no taboos, where maid of nature will sing the lyric of love written by the old man with a youthful heart. How confident is a lonely old man! He will become a child once again, he will grow in a handsome youth, he will start a new love movie with the same heroin, he will have the same children more lovely this time, and the cute grandchildren more naughty and more pretty. Marvellous poem. Full vote.
Thanks Mahakul Ji, you made my day. Your comment is a dgree from an university.
How weak and helpless is a lonely old man! He has none to look after him, nobody to cook food for him, nobody to provide him medical aid, nobody to whom he may listen to, nobody to whom he may talk. Dear poet, you have portrayed the reality happening in our society. I think situations should be changed by our kids, kins and authorities. Excellent write,10
