A Loaf Of Bread Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Loaf Of Bread

Rating: 5.0

I could have given you a loaf of bread
instead I gave only a few bread crumbs
a loaf of bread could have fed a few people
instead a handful of bread crumbs I scattered
along the side of a lost forest trail less traveled
a few hunger birds came ate up the bread crumbs
a few hunger birds were with the feast thankful
a few hunger birds to their homes returned thankful
