A Little While Eternal Poem by Jessel Jane Tevar Toring

A Little While Eternal

Rating: 3.3

Tell him I love to weave these words
into a song upon his luscious lips,
to make the rhythm of my heart
a gentle melody in his ears.
I'd love to turn each fleeting moment
with him into a little while eternal—
dancing and singing,
laughing, whispering,
until the stars begin to fall.

Tell him I love to make these lines
into a love poem with his earnest smile,
to let his heart be the sunlight
that brightens my darkest sky.
I'd love to turn every minute with him
into a little while eternal—
feeling and loving,
dreaming while kissing,
until the stars begin to fall.

Tell him I love to make his hair
my shadow with his teasing eyes.
And make his voice a melody
until the fearful evening dies.
I'd love to make every day with him
a little while eternal—
smiling and touching,
holding, caressing,
until the stars begin to fall.

lines romantic soft and sweet...breezing as one reads on...'make his heart be sunlight to my darkest sky...' is a pleasing phrase...good work, Jane...10
