I love the way this one sings along nicely. A lovely tale indeed. Funnily enough I have the film Master and Commander playing in the background which adds the perfect atmosphere whilst reading this one Tom. The hinting of a different woman in each port truly a sailors tale indeed. A very enjoyable read. Anna

Naughty sailor! It would be wise to choose Ladies with the same name but I don't suppose they thought of that until it was too late!

I love the way this one sings along nicely, a great tale indeed from start to finish, and just as I read this one Tom, Master and Commander is playing in the background on the TV this evening. So a very fitting piece to be reading at this time, as it adds to the atmosphere to your poem. I like the hint at a different woman in different ports. A true sailors life haha. great job done here. Hi Anna, It could be set to music but not with me singing it! Maybe the Pogues! They have a great version of south Australia. I won't be sailing up the Forth tomorrow. The Train's easier!
