A Little Longer Poem by Varsha Salunke

A Little Longer

Rating: 4.7

At the end of my day
I remember my old days
I want to relive the childhood plays
Stay a little longer i said.
When the day is over
Can't the time freeze forever
The sun asked why
Shine a little longer i said.
It was a dark night
I was scared, too scared to fight
The moon came with a shining light
Shine a little longer I said.
One day I asked the sky
You're always happy, why?
What is the key to the happiness, I asked
Smile a little longer he said.
