Love is a great thing to hold on to. It is easy to give love and when you do....it gets returned ten-fold! The little light that you speak of......is something that helps me get through too! I love this! :)
There is a love that is most rewarding, at least to me, love of my children and wife comes before myself, I have no reward in loving myself though self worth is necessary, there is more happiness in giving than receiving, we live in a world full of those who give themselves priority, light is so appropriate in love, your poem is very good, excellent!
Love of self is the priority. it is the spark that ignites the conflagration.
Wonderful reflective poem, Sandra. That little light that guides us to a life filled with love, peace, truth, beauty, purity, compassion and all good values and principles of the universe, perhaps the most valuable thing to all humanity. A key to happiness.
