A Life Taken Poem by Lacie Hebert

A Life Taken

There's this empty feeling, stuck inside me,
It's one I can't begin to describe.
The pain that it brings to ur life,
Is one you can never deny.

The tears will constantly fall,
An the mind can't think of anything.
The arms will reach out for someone,
But, in the end... Will never feel nothing.

It's something u can't explain,
It's a dream u always have.
It's a sound u can't ever forget,
It's a baby you could have had.

In the end u can't take it,
Reality is you've taken a life...
And no matter what u think,
None if your reasons made it right...

And Who knows what's next,
Because u stay trapped in thoughts.
Asking yourself if it would have been different,
If for once in life you had actually fought....

And This is just a few things,
That go through your life each day.
And all the while ur wanting to die,
Because you took a life away! !
