Lora, This is destined to grace my next PH showcase, coming up later this month. You are 'the greatest' poet on PH (more or less) , bar none [except maybe me, OF COURSE]. Wishing you the best, as always. bri ;)

Through longing and longing you are going to foresee the future. God's grace empowers life and you can beautify this with dignity and praising God. This is great poem is beautifully penned.10

How did this one escape me? Lovely, mysterious, probing questions that none can answer satisfactorily. Nice write Lora!

I long to know if God exists; In my mind it's still unclear Who to praise for nature's beauty, Through disaster, whom shall I fear? you are expressing a philosophical question. and naturally it goes on to the field of Theology. i like your questions about God. Doubt belongs to a life of faith. the fact that you ask questions means that you are in your struggle to find God. thank you very much

In my opinion... Even after we have really touched love Even after we've felt it's embrace Even after we've truly known faith Felt disbelief disappear from space... Certainty's certainly a fool's game, True faith perhaps means we're not lazy Questions are the very air the soul breathes, Joy and pain are what make feelings feel, If our longing for God makes us crazy It's God's longing for us that's to blame.

A passionate, searching poem with some profound thinking in the mix. Life seemed filled with eternal search, as you have told us extremely well. Very stirring-10

God showers His love and mercy on us, irrespective of whether we call Him or not. The disasters are the makings of humankind, while God watches from above the aberrations. I, for one, would not like to question the Wisdom of God in such circumstances, certainly God has His reasons. Sometimes, we are awakened by the adverse situations to see our follies and atone for our misdeeds. Our faith in Him gets redeemed under such circumstances. However, But I must question the dilemma Of the wars, the famine, the drought....is also a good step, because through questioning and deliberations you may find an acceptable answer to the doings of the nature that may appear weird. I'm tired of hoping and longing, I seek refuge in solitude; I abandon my unanswered questions, Ascending to spheres of quietude This stanza takes the reader with you in ascending the spheres of quietude. What a marvelous expression, really loved it. Thanks for sharing your solitude and longing with the readers

so truly said, belief is also a dilemma as is faith. The destination is not known. But we must not stop our search for a purpose. To travel hopefully is better than to arrive to quote Sir James Jeans.
